Isabel Coxon, EIT

Building Science Engineer (EIT)

Isabel is a Building Science Engineer (EIT) at METHOD working on both new construction and existing buildings. Isabel conducts building envelope and balcony assessments and completes conceptual and detailed design for renewal projects. For new construction and renewal projects, she completes drawing reviews, field review, and submittal services. Additionally, Isabel leads the home warranty review service at METHOD for strata common property. She has a bachelors degree (B.Eng.) in Civil Engineering from the University of Victoria and is a registered Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia. Isabel started her current position at METHOD in 2020 and worked in the construction industry throughout her education since 2017.

Hannah Kennedy, EIT

Building Science Engineer (EIT)

Hannah is a Building Science Engineer (EIT) who supports the METHOD team with drafting and building science tasks including assessments, investigations, field reviews, and design. Her role within the team varies from project to project, but some of her key responsibilities include preparing detailed design drawings, conducting field reviews, and assisting with leak investigations. Hannah graduated from the University of Victoria in 2022 with a degree in Civil Engineering (B.Eng.). She is passionate about the environment and is excited to be contributing to the sustainable design of new construction as well as restoration projects.

Jerrot MacLeod, Dip.T., CEA

Sustainability Technologist
Energy Advisor

Jerrot provides Energy Step Code Compliance services for all building types (Part 3 and 9), working with Builders and Developers to optimize their building systems and achieve the required Step Code targets. He completes detailed analysis and energy modelling to deliver energy usage reduction options. Additionally, Jerrot can complete detailed Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) reports to understand the embodied emissions and impacts produced by material choices. Jerrot is a Quality Assurance Specialist through NRCan and completes quality assurance on EnerGuide work. Prior to his energy work, Jerrot worked in construction since 2013 in various trades such as roofing, carpentry, and concrete. He has a Diploma in Sustainable Construction Management and Engineering Technology (Dip.T.), and is a Certified Energy Advisor (CEA).

Matt Mulleray, P.Eng., CPHD

President, Senior Project Engineer
Building Envelope Specialist

Matt is a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) and President of METHOD. Matt works in all aspects of the building science work at METHOD. Matt has been working in the building envelope industry since 2003 and participates in design, assessments, investigations, field review, and project management. Matt also provides building envelope expert opinions for litigation and warranty projects. Matt has a Diploma in Civil Engineering from BCIT, a Bachelor of Applied Science (Civil Engineering) from the University of Waterloo, and is a Certified Passive House Consultant. Matt works directly with our Clients and is happy to meet to discuss any questions you may have about METHOD and how we can help you out.

Tim Smith, AScT, CPHT

Senior Project Manager
Site Superintendent

Tim has worked in the building science field since 2008, specializing in building forensics, condition assessment, design, project management and site supervision. Tim provides a wide range of services at METHOD. He is responsible for site control, scheduling, and all operational aspects of our Construction Managed projects. Tim also manages METHOD’s small repair projects, often completing challenging removals and detailing work that require the highest level of attention. Tim treats every project like it is his own and this shows in his dedication to the Client’s needs. He is an Applied Science Technologist (AScT), Certified Computer Graphics (Engineering) Technician, and Certified Passive House Tradesperson and has a Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology.

Minerva Thain

Accounts Administrator

Minerva joined METHOD as an Accounts Administrator in 2021 where she is responsible for accounts payable and receivables, and our EnerGuide Assessment invoicing. She also supports our team culture by participating in our social committee. Minerva moved to Canada in 2005 from Guadalajara, Mexico having worked in project management and office administration roles for the Ministry of Administration of the State of Jalisco and SARRE Industrial Services respectively. She has a BA in Business Administration from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education.

Kyle Goossen, RSE, CEA

Energy Advisor

Kyle completes EnerGuide evaluations as an Energy Advisor, and provides engineering field and building site work support. His construction experience dates back to 2013; this includes installations, and preparation and interpretation of technical designs and documents. Kyle is a Certified Energy Advisor (CEA) and a Red Seal Journeyman Electrician.

Matias Kollinger, EIT

Building Science Engineer (EIT)

Matias is a Building Science Engineer (EIT) for METHOD providing engineering and project management services to a variety of clients including Stratas and Contractors. Services Matias provides include leak investigations, field review, assessments, and project coordination. Matias has a Civil Engineering Degree (B.Eng.) with a Business Minor from the University of Victoria, and is a registered Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia. While completing his university degree, Matias completed four co-ops where he gained over 16 months of work experience in project management assisting construction teams deliver large heavy civil projects across the province.

Jennifer Mulleray

Office Assistant
EnerGuide Administrator

Jennifer contributed to the initial development our company’s administrative processes in 2016, and now supports our clients and office with professionalism and consideration as an Office Assistant and EnerGuide Administrator. In addition to her administrative and customer service experience with METHOD, Jennifer has 20 years of experience in health-care related work including respite support, vocational support for clients with diversabilities, general nursing, primary care and public health work. She has a Diploma in Nursing Studies (Non-Practicing LPN).

Passion Roper

Construction Assistant

Passion has worked with METHOD since 2017 as a key part of our Building Services Team. Passion supports our Construction Managed projects, along with our own-force labour providing site control and trade support. Passion is trained in specialized building envelope detailing and waterproofing, which she utilizes as part of our small repair projects. Passion puts people first and is known for her high level of care for people and their property during construction, from set up to final clean up.

Morgan Swanson

Office Manager
Construction Manager

Morgan is the Office Manager for METHOD, supporting clients, trade contractors and the company with administrative and financial needs. Morgan is also a Construction Manager and is responsible for financial tracking/budgeting, payments, lien holdbacks, insurance, and trade contracts. Morgan has been working in the engineering and construction industry since 2017 and has decades of experience working in business operations and customer service obtained from previous careers as business owner and in senior administrator positions for local, national, and international companies. They have an Applied Project Management Certificate, and are currently completing a Business Administration — Accounting degree.
